Villa Petra

Villa Petra is an early 19th-century residence where you can breathe a timeless atmosphere. Terracotta floors, authentic restoration materials, refined finishes and antique furniture tell the story of the house, while modern comforts ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay. For many years this villa was our family home, a place rich in memories and tradition, now open to guests who wish to enjoy an authentic experience in the countryside of Lucca.

The house is arranged over three levels connected by internal staircases. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with fireplace, TV area and dining table, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the garden and outdoor porch, perfect for lunches and dinners al fresco thanks to the barbecue. On this floor there is also a service bathroom with shower and washing machine. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with both bathtub and shower. On the top floor, the attic offers a large open-space area with two single beds, with the possibility of adding two more upon request, and a double bedroom with a private bathroom.

Outside, the fenced garden on two levels is an oasis of tranquility surrounded by nature, with a beautiful view over the olive grove and the private swimming pool. The private pool is located on the lower terrace and can be reached via a charming stone staircase. Here guests can relax, enjoy the view and dine outdoors in a unique atmosphere. Even on the warmest summer nights the air remains fresh and breezy, so it is always advisable to have a light sweater with you. A barbecue is available for pleasant outdoor grilling, while the external wood-fired oven is not available for use.

Guests have access to the entire property, including the garden and private swimming pool, except for the outdoor wood-fired oven. Pets are allowed, but they must not be washed in the house bathrooms and pet hair must be removed before departure. The final cleaning fee is €120, to be paid in cash on site, and is not included in the rate. The kitchen must be left clean; otherwise an extra fee of €50 will be charged. A private means of transport is necessary to stay at the villa.
